Mi papá es uno de los hombres más fuertes que conozco, es cariñoso, alegre y gracioso. Solía trabajar como ingeniero, sin embargo, con el inicio de la pandemia, quedó desempleado y sin seguro médico.

En septiembre de este año (2020) mi papá fue diagnosticado con Cáncer de Colon.

La situación en la que nos encontramos como familia, nos ha llevado a buscar formas extraordinarias para conseguir los fondos para pagar su tratamiento.

Ya tuvo una cirugía en la que extirparon medio colon (en donde se encontraba el tumor cancersoso), sin embargo, en estudios posteriores, su equipo médico se dio cuenta de que el cáncer se había propagado al hígado. Ahora necesita 6 meses de quimioterapia y dos cirugías más.

Cada dosis de quimioterapia tiene un costo aproximado de 8 mil pesos mexicanos, él necesita 8 en el transcurso de 6 meses. Las cirugías pasan los 20 mil pesos mexicanos.

Nos dieron la gran noticia de que su cáncer es tratable y, mientras cumpla con el tratamiento, será posible su recuperación total.

Lo que podamos recaudar de esta forma será completamente para pagar su tratamiento. El hospital nos ha provisto de una parte de lo que necesitamos, pero aun hay mucho por cubrir.

Mi familia y yo estamos infinitamente agradecidos. Nos han ayudado muchísimo en esta etapa de nuestra vida y no tenemos cómo agradecerles el gesto, solo desearles lo mejor para sus propias familias y esperar a que los tiempos difíciles pasen. Sabemos que cada peso que nos donan requirió trabajo y esfuerzo y por eso estaremos en deuda con ustedes. Llevamos recaudado la mitad de lo que se estima será el costo del tratamiento. My dad is one of the most amazing men. He's strong, funny, kind, and smart. He used to work as an engineer, but due to the pandemic that we are experiencing, my father is now unemployed and therefore without health insurance.
