Lets Help Miss.Cristy Flores.. beat cancer :)

Who is Miss Cristy Flores? She is an amazing friend, a loving sister, a highly respected educator, and yes, the world’s best mother. She has been, and continues to be a beacon of light for so many who have crossed paths with her over the years. A beautiful woman, inside and out who loves with her whole heart. She takes so much pride in everything she does – in her work, her students, her family. She has given so much of herself to those around her, and has always done so with a smile. Now, Miss Cristy needs our help.

Earlier this month, Miss Cristy was given the news that no one wants to hear – she was diagnosed with cancer. It’s a rare form of cancer, but luckily, was discovered early, so the prognosis is good. Miss Cristy is currently preparing to undergo surgery (lumpectomy/lymph node dissection) and radiation treatment.Having recently lost a close family member to cancer, this was a particularly heavy blow, but we are all confident that she will come out fighting and prevail.

As we all know, such procedures come with a huge financial burden, the last thing we want her to worry about, and that is why we are here today. Although we have managed to raise some funds for the surgery, we would like to raise an additional 150k pesos ($7k US) to cover medical and travel expenses.
