Be One with the Change

I am a Medical Laboratory Science student from Riverside College Inc., and I am one of the chosen delegates that are going to represent my beloved country, the Philippines. I, a brave soul, am given the chance to participate in a prestigious conference and I am going to voice out my advocacy about Local Government Units to prioritize healthcare.

I always have a dream to learn how to better contribute a positive change to my country and that dream is very possible to come true, for Asian Youth International Model United Nation (AYIMUN) has given me the chance to collaborate with different individuals on how to solve global issues that our world is facing today. It will be my first time attending an international conference and I am beyond excited about gaining experiences and helping the world face its challenges through small steps.

As a student who is always focusing on their phone 24/7, I should be updated all the time about the things that are happening around us, but no. I am always fully-loaded with school works and I have no chance to check the news locally, nationally, and internationally. I want to change that. I need to be more knowledgeable, more responsive, and at least contribute ideas that can help prevent the arising of the different global issues.

AYIMUN is a 4-day (November 9 to 12, 2018) academic simulation and is going to be held in Bangkok, Thailand. I am humbly asking for your assistance for the upcoming event to pay for the trip's expenses which is total to the amount of 400 US Dollars. Your donation will be a significant factor in helping me achieve my dream and it will really mean a lot to me. Though my words will never be enough to thank you, that's the least I could do.

My dream is my purpose in life, and that is to become a change that this world needs. A change that is able to make the world a better and peaceful place. So be one with the change.

Payment for the Conference: 400 US Dollars, which is equivalent to 21,406.20 Pesos.
Deadline for the payment: September 15, 2018.
