AYIMUN 2018

I have been dreaming for an experience of a lifetime like this one since I knew I was going to work for United Nations. I woke up with excitement as I saw the announcement from my emails.

From 18, 3000 applicants, I am a selected to be one of the 1000 delegates from all around the world.

I will be travelling by myself to Bangkok from Philippines and back in the beginning of November. I will be competing in plenaries and committee sessions discussing, negotiating and writing resolutions to improve the lives of others, restore justice in issues and build international cooperation. I will meet new people, learn new things that will add to my set of MUN skills and future endeavour of studying Law and International Relations.

AYIMUN is a prestigious competition, in which I delve into the world of diplomacy, international relations, and the United Nations. There, I use researching, public speaking, debating, and writing skills, in addition to critical thinking, teamwork, and leadership abilities.

Of course, with this awesome opportunity to travel and network with like-minded people, there also comes a cost: I need to raise Just under $1000 for fee registrations and accommodation in Thailand, the minimum is $700 but anything above would be helpful. Scarily I will be travelling by myself from Philippines! And I really would love your help and fully appreciate it.
