Axia’s Liver Transplant

Hi, my name is Marjorie de la Torre and I'm from Naga City, Philippines. I'm asking help for my friend's daughter, Axia. I was hoping that this fund raising campaign would help offset her medical and living expenses, and hopefully get the liver transplant that would save her life.

She's been diagnosed with idiopathic neonatal hepatitis at birth. At eight months, the disease has already taken its toll on her liver. Her latest check up revealed that only about 60% of her liver is functioning. Her only option is to get a liver transplant as soon as possible but the procedure is way too expensive and not available in the Philippines.

Her best bet is to get a liver transplant in India which costs a little cheaper than anywhere else. I understand that this is next to impossible but we're not losing hope and her mom Che, my friend, is not giving up. With all this, we would like to ask for your support. We appreciate any amount or encouragement you can give. Please help us give Axia a chance to live.
