Dog - Mother's best friend

Name - Axel (Golden Retriever)

Age - 6 years of Human Age

Axel, a dog that was running and playing very well until last week, suddenly started breathing heavily, not eating food, vomiting, and constipation.

Upon taking him to the vet, an ultrasound and x-ray was performed, he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. He has a  tumor in his pancreas and this has spread to his lungs and his liver.

It breaks my heart to see him in such a state. He has become lethargic, immobile, and has difficulty breathing. My mother in unable to understand how he went from such an energetic state to what he is now. A dog so young in age, i hope his life has been good.

Video 1: Youtube Video Title = "Axel and Zoro playing" - this video was taken about a week or so prior to Axel's tumor taking a hit on him. He is playing so well with Zoro. It is hard to imagine his current state.

Video 2: Youtube Video Title = "Axel - Golden Retriver - Difficulty Breathing" - this video was taken on Nov 24, 2013. It was a video taken on a sunday night when Broncos and Pats were playing. He has been prescribed steroids. The steroids keep his pain at ease on the day time, but the night times are hard for him.

I ask for funds to help him get any therapy possible. If, god forbid, he passes away, the funds will be donated to a golden retreiver foundation. Please hold your dogs closer to you every day. They have a small life and they cannot speak, but will do anything you tell them. The most loyal of friends, the best companions. My poor dog, my heart breaks for his pain. He has been a very good friend to my mother. It hurts me to realize my mom is going through more pain than i am.
