Women’s Empowerment Volunteer Work

The Love Volunteers is a program that supports struggling communities globally offering childcare, development, education, healthcare support, wildlife projects and many more. I am committing to follow the Education & Women's Empowerment program available in multiple destinations but more specifically Rabat, Morocco.

I feel like this issue has a strong force behind it right now and I would like to share my love, knowledge and skills to uneducated women and Buddhist nuns. Also, I can share my experience with those of us who are more fortunate so we can understand the greater issue and raise awareness.

I will be volunteering for a minimum of 8 weeks and will extend my stay with additional funds from fundraising. I believe this will be life changing and inspire others who have the flexibility and willingness to help and for those that have commitments your donations will allow me to continue working on this important cause.

In a population of 16,642,000 females in Morocco 40% are literate (able to read and write); 10.2% are unemployed; 26% engage in economic activity and 63% are subject to acts of violence. The opportunity to interact with these vulnerable women daily and support them emotionally as well as teach them life skills will give them confidence and improve their future prospects to become independent.
