My brother Asher is awesome!

As many of you know, Asher has been a volunteer with the Art of Living since we first took our Art of Living course in 2000.  That naturally progressed to him helping to organize Art of Living courses since 2002, and he’s been a lead organizer and volunteer trainer since he started his MA back in 2009. We all know his extensive volunteering is a labour of love; whenever someone has been down or has gone through a rough time (myself included), Asher has been there to make sure we had a steady diet of non-judgemental support, meditation, knowledge, and ayurvedic goodies!

For many, many years now, Asher has wanted to become an Art of Living teacher in order to share the amazingness of the course that truly changed our lives some 14 years ago. And Guruji himself has been hinting that he should become a teacher for a long time! Just this past month, Asher got the message that he should take TTC this coming February at the International Centre in Bangalore (Bengaluru), India! Finally he is going to complete the teacher’s training so he can keep serving others but in an even bigger capacity!

The main obstacle to Asher taking TTC has consistently been finances. Besides being an international graudate student with student loan debt, our family suffered a few big financial losses in the past few years that have made it so that the money we were planning on putting towards his TTC just ain’t there. Crowdfunding was then approved as an option by one of the people in charge of TTC. So we’re now reaching out to you, our Art of Living community, in order to make this happen. In true Asher style, he is offering several creative and healthful perks in return for your contributions.   

Please give generously towards Asher’s TTC program! He is already such a strong, steady, dedicated volunteer, and he’s such a warm-hearted dude! We all know he’ll be an amazing Art of Living teacher. Note: this is a private campaign; please don’t share it widely (e.g., through social media). Asher wants to keep this campaign strictly within the Art of Living community, and he doesn’t want it publicized. Lastly, any excess funds will go to the Art of Living Foundation. :)

-Indian tourist visa: $80 
-Roundtrip Southampton to London Heathrow (bus): covered!

$50: One “Introduction to Ayurveda, Lifestyle, and Food” class over google hangout (2 hrs) (group).

$100: A set of 3 Ayurveda food cooking classes over google hangout. + Introductory Ayurveda class.

$150: Private, one-on-one, individualized, applied ayurveda consultation: goal is to talk about how ayurveda could best and most easily be incorporated into your life.  Focus on sustainability and ease of solution.  +Ayurveda introduction class.

$200: Private, individualized ayurveda consultation, + 3 cooking lessons, +Ayurveda introduction class.
