Avon Bat Rescue

AVON BAT RESCUE Myself and a few others run a voluntary organisation 'Avon Bat Rescue' which involves advising the public what to do if they find an injured bat or one trapped in their home and will go out at our own cost to rescue these bats and educate the public. We rehabilitate injured bats in dedicated rooms, with costs incurred for buying equipment such as heat pads and scales, housing, food, medication and of course, vet bills. More money will help us rescue more bats and affort vetinary treatment for the ones we sadly cannot afford to help. In rare cases bats may be un-releasable and kept for education, for example talks at schools and nursing homes (under licence). Of course, where possible we release the bat back where it came from and have a great success. Please help us to help more bats.
