Ava’s Hospital Bills

Hi everyone. I'm Janine, human of Ava, a bright tom cat who is an albino Siamese. My cat has unfortunately contracted FIV from fighting with a stray. In turn, he had acquired a secondary infection and is battling with bronchopneumonia and a dental abscess which needs immediate operation. FIV (similar to HIV in humans) is a lifelong immuno-compromising illness that affects cats alone and non-transferrable to any other species. The virus is transferred through saliva injected into a cat's bloodstream through deep punctures of teeth that occurs during cat fights. FIV can be managed by ensuring he does not come in contact with other disease-carrying cats. He can well live into old age if together we can help him overcome his current health situation.
