Automagic is powered by Google Lens technology, and works by identifying a vehicle and its features by taking just one smartphone photo. It’s the ideal app for people who want to have more automobile knowledge, are looking to buy or sell a vehicle, or are excited to know about the latest models. It works especially well for people with busy schedules that don’t leave them much time for vehicle research.

This exciting new smartphone app helps users identify and research different versions of a vehicle from the touch of a button on their smartphone. If they are interested in buying that vehicle, then it also helps connect them to potential buyers or sellers in their area.

Unlike other vehicle apps on the market, Automagic facilitates the vehicle identification and buying process from the word go. This app will help you find your favored make and model in your price range, source a nearby seller, and even plan your route to the dealership!

How does Automagic work?

Picture this: you’re walking down the street on your way to work, and you spot an attractive vehicle from a manufacturer you admire. The only problem is, you aren’t sure which vehicle it is, how much this model costs, or what kind of technical specs it offers.

With Automagic installed on your phone, you simply have to take a quick photo and you’ll be presented with the vehicle’s model, manufacturer, year and price – but that’s not all.

In addition to learning the basics you’ll be presented with four functions, each of which lets you learn more about that beautiful mystery vehicle:

1. Specifications
2. Technology
3. Customization
4. Images

The Specs function covers dimensions, transmission, different engine size(s), horsepower, fuel consumption, and 0-60mph acceleration time.

The Technology function fills you in on specific technological features such as blind spot assist, reverse camera, cruise control and lane departure warning and many more.

The Customization function provides you with a list of available customization's. You’ll view different exterior/interior colors, wood grains, and trim options etc.

The Images function simply lets you see a variety of exterior and interior photographs of the vehicle, taken from a number of different angles.

If that’s not enough, you’ll also be able to compare up to three different vehicles at one time – a useful function if you’ve got a shortlist but you’re finding it hard to make a final decision.

How do I buy a vehicle with Automagic?

If you’ve spotted your dream car and you’re keen to take a test drive, all you need to do is add the vehicle to the Favorites area of the app.

Favored vehicles will display information on the nearest dealership that stocks your chosen make and model. The app will provide contact information, and even a Google Maps link that will show you the quickest way to get to the dealership.

How do I sell a vehicle with Automagic?

Automagic isn’t just tailored towards users looking to buy a vehicle – it’s also the perfect app for prospective sellers.

This app can facilitate easier sales and higher prices by drawing on data relating to a specific vehicle. Let’s say you live in Oakville and you want to sell your 2015 Honda Civic. Enter the details of your vehicle, and Automagic will tell you that your vehicle is most popular in Mississauga. This means that people are willing to pay a higher price if you sell it through the Mississauga vehicle market.

You’ll also benefit from the ease of the prospective buyer search; if somebody nearby is looking for a vehicle you can supply, our app will recommend your dealership and make it easier for the buyer to get in contact.

How much funding does Automagic need?

We are currently still developing Automagic, which means we still require funding for research, consumer testing, and advertising. We’re seeking a funding total of $500,000 to make Automagic a reality, and to keep it 100% free for our users from day one.
