Autistim needs

This is Bailey, she is 3, almost 4 and was diagnosed with autism at age 2. she has severe speech delay, sensory processing issues. she goes to a regular preschool with an IEP, which is an individualized educational program written for her needs. her needs cannot be met in an unspecialized environment. we do not have a local specialized school to send her too and cannot afford the transit to a school so far away. she is in need of more one on one teaching which i am willing to provide at home if i can raise the funds to obtain the teaching tools and supplies i need. She is unable to take directions or understand what is going on around her. I need to prepare her for kindergarden while still allowing her to go to regular preschool so she will have some social interaction.  How will the funds help? It will allow me to purchase special needs educational games, books, teaching aids and equipment that i can use at home to help Bailey progress.  why should people get involved? well this is a frustrating diagnosis to deal with, its a daily struggle. There is no cure. Lack of support system. lack of resources. yes there is plenty of information on autism out there to read but there are limited sources of funding and grants and alot of them are only given to people who live in specific areas. It if unfair that due to demographic region help is limited. schools are too far away. therapists who expect you to drive to them and do not offer in home services covered by your insurance.  I understand and accept what the diagnosis is. what i am looking for is teaching tools/ supplies we cannot afford on a limited budget.  I dont want to put her education on hold. she needs to be learning on a daily basis and unless you have the resources you are limited as to what you can do.  I thank you for taking the time to read this information and possibly sharing it with anyone who would be willing to help us. thank you, Holly
