To appreciate what you have, you often have to lose, only then do you understand how important the lost is.
We, the people of Lugansk, have lost peace and tranquility, but have acquired uncertainty in the future and a lot of fears and phobias, but the most sad we have acquired is the generation of new children ... special ... children of war ... the war of our time.
The smallest residents of Lugansk, children, fell under the main crisis hit. Those who were born just before the war, or already during the armed conflict.
Early Childhood Autism
More and more often parents come to our center with questions about mental retardation of children aged from 1,5 to 5 years. And more and more often the diagnosis is "autism". The first thing that parents notice themselves is that the child does not talk, does not look into the eyes, and does not focus on objects. The child has frequent, unreasonable hysterics, repetitive movements, and problems in relationships with parents and peers. The child hurts himself and others. Symptoms can be listed further, but the important thing is that we want, and most importantly, we can timely help both parents and children, in the best period of a child's life - this is age of up to 5 years.
For more than 15 years, our center has been specialized in the development of children of early and preschool age. We work with methods of early advanced training and development in love and joy, in close interaction with the family.
The effectiveness of our program is proved by many years of experience, numerous outstanding results with children, and positive responses from parents.
The application of our program gives high positive results among children with developmental retardation (hyperactivity, mental retardation and autism).
What do we give to children?
We can give children knowledge with love and joy precisely at the age when children are most curious. We do not set limits. We offer children knowledge from a wide range of spheres of life and science. We teach children reading, mathematics, geography, astronomy, biology, history, art, music. In our classes we develop children’s perception, attention, memory, thinking, speech, imagination, fine motor skills. And most importantly, we teach children to love the learning process, to think independently and critically, to love themselves and the world around them, to trust themselves and others and to prepare them for a future independent and happy life. We do not just teach children, we are friends and partners with them, we learn together and teach each other. Our training is based on love and trust. We believe that our children can change the world for the better, make them happier and more joyful. And now you have the opportunity to become involved in this miracle - the miracle of the birth of a new person.
Developing classes of our program with children with diagnoses such as hyperactivity, mental retardation and autism provided timely intervention in the early stages of the disease and allowed our young students to become ordinary members of society. After completing the course from several months to two or three years, the children were able to go to a regular school with healthy peers. Of course, children with these diagnoses need an individual approach and correction of the program for their individual needs. If these conditions are met, we get outstanding results - children not only start to talk, but they start to read and write, and most importantly, do it with pleasure, they easily establish contacts with peers and adults, they are open and sociable. Children develop effectively small motor skills, cognitive processes come to age norms, and in some cases children even develop ahead of time. Social and communication skills develop to normal.
Timely corrective help in the early stages of the disease will prevent complicated forms of autism and the presence of mental retardation in the future, as well as exclude corrective intervention throughout life.
The purpose of the project for the academic year (10 months)
- Organize 2400 individual correctional and developmental classes for 20 special children for free(with a diagnosis of autism and mental retardation) – this requires $ 12000 (one-hour individual lesson for a child costs $ 5 – it is the payment of a specialist and the material support of the lesson).
- Organize 60 individual free consultations for their families – this requires $ 840 (An hour and a half consultation costs $ 14).
- Organize 20 three-hour free seminars – trainings for parents on learning the skills of interaction with special children - this requires $ 2400 (participation of 1 parent in 1 seminar costs $ 6).
- Issue a free manual for parents on the early detection of retardation in the development of children, for timely intervention and correction – 5000 copies, this requires $ 2500.
