Greetings from our family,

I am writing you on behalf of Authentic Flavors Restaurant and Experiences. Authentic Flavors was established in 2017. Our mission is to bring recognition to our Belizean people, cultures, food, talents, and arts & craft to achieve cultural retention and improve the lives of our people. It has been extremely rewarding for us to enlighten our customers through our food and art and in receiving the raving feedbacks over the years. It has also been an honor to serve our local communities and people and somewhat bring recognition and financial help to them.

As we try to grow, it has been a great challenge surviving in our economy. With the rise of the COVID-19 pandemic and the downfall of our economy, we were forced to close.

However, there is a light in all this. The down time has given us the opportunity to work on areas that we are unable to in the past. We now have an improved direction for Authentic Flavors. In the past, we struggled with the rent of our small location in the center of the town. Now, we were offered to use a location that is a much bigger, natural, home environment which will add to the authenticity of the business and give us room to centralize our local experiences and exhibitions.

Our new location is about 30 minutes walking distance from the center of the town, a 10 minutes’ drive, Located in the outskirts of the town. We plan to provide a shuttle from the town’s center to our location and to place road signs that will easily help with directions for customers in their own vehicle.

The purpose of this letter is to ask for small donations, from the heart, that will assist us in achieving our goal of reopening Authentic Flavors at our amazing new location. We are aiming to raise $5000.00 Belize dollars to complete construction of our dining & workshop areas, place road signs and start operating. Any help would be great and highly appreciated.
