48 years ago I was made to give up my son for adoption.I was 18 years old at the time,Iwas not given any choice and did not have any say in the matter,unfortunately it was not easy in those days. My son went to foster parents prior to his adoption,although I desparately wanted to see him I could not bear to think of having to give him back. however just before he went to his adoptive parents I did see him and was able to take him out for a few hours ,I took him to have his picture taken and for all this time that is all I had. I tried to find him unsuccessfully. But then along came' Long Lost Families' and in August 2014 I met son, it was the most wonderful moment of my life to have found him. We are both so happy we are together again. However my son lives in Adelaide Australia, we had a couple of days only after our meeting and can only skype . He desparetly wants me to go over to Australia to visit him and my very dear friends have bought me a ticket to fly there in March BUT I AM DESPARETLY short of money to help pay my share in Australia. I only work part-time and have no savings I have my insurance but still need to get my visa Can anyone help xxxxxxxxxxxx
