Aureen’s battle with Cushing’s Syndrome

Hello everyone,

I would like to ask for your help for my partner (wife), Aureen Mae, or some of you may know her as Aureen, and she's 29 years old.

On March 2022, she experienced continuous migraine, muscle weakness (she is unable to walk without assistance. She attempted to use a walking cane, but her hand grip is beginning to weaken as well), uncontrollable weight gain, blurry vision, and hair loss. Then a few weeks later, she was taken to the ER due to difficulty of breathing.

Her MRI and lab results came back, and she was diagnosed with Ketoacidosis and Cushing's Syndrome.

Aureen's current medication alone costs Php 3,000 PER WEEK, that is Php 12,000 per month.

We are not rich, not even middle class. Her mother is unemployed. Her parents were only mangangalakal. We barely get ends meet. I work as a technician in a small computer shop, and I don't make much. Aureen used to work as an office cleaning for a company.

That is why we are knocking on your hearts, to please, please, spare her some help.

Any amount will be tremendously helpful and aid Aureen's required medication and much-needed surgery expenses.
