Aura’s and Natalija’s mission to an African orphanage

Hello! We are a mom Natalija, age 30 and a daughter Aura, age 4.
We are a strange little mix that loves to do charity work. So far we have been doing a lot of it in our home country Croatia. Aura is donating her clothes and toys to children in need and I am organizing various humanitarian actions. We have been helping immigrants, animals, we have sent lots of food and clothes to families all over Croatia. We also had one big international humanitarian action where we visited the Philippines and bought and distributed food to more than 100 homeless people and children, we bought food and shoes for one entire school (150 kids) and we bought supplies for an orphanage. But now our hearts want more! We want to visit and help in an orphanage in Kenya called ''ivan mia children's home''.There are 2 reasons for this decision. 1.) I feel that doing this will be a life-changing moment that I am waiting for. I feel as if that is my life calling. 2.) I want to teach and show Aura the other side of life, the uncomfortable one, the painful ones, the beautiful one so that Aura can grow into caring, loving and a helping person. It is hard to show her the real colors of the world while we live a comfortable European life.
But here is the set back to our plans. I am back to my studies now and all the money that I earn goes to pay my scholarship so we are not able to save enough money for this important and life-changing trip that we are so looking forward. We decided to try and use this platform in order to find help for us so that we can help others. Let's help Aura to be the color this world needs!
