Audrey Eljane’s Fight Against Hepatoblastoma

To the General Public:

My name is Ariel E. Serrano, 31 years old, from Mandaluyong/Bulakan/Sorsogon (Philippines). On December 14, 2018, after 3 days of being admitted to the hospital due to on and off fever that lasted for 3 weeks, our daughter Audrey Eljane was diagnosed with hepatoblastoma and in the coming weeks will be undergoing chemotherapy to shrink the progressive tumor occupying half of her liver, prior to surgery.

Our daughter is just 7 months old (as of December 17, 2018). And as a father, of course, I have high dreams for her, and the most important of which is to see her grow and live her life. Unfortunately, because of this case, as much as I'd like to be positive, there is that probability that I might not get to see that happen. But I love our child. And we want to extend her life through the procedures that the doctors recommend.

We have some (savings) but not enough to answer for the procedures or other costs that we might be undertaking for our daughter. Me and my wife are full-time employees. To fully take care of her case, it means that we'll have to attend to her full-time, temporarily leaving our jobs until her recovery.

Hence, I humbly ask those who are quite fortunate in life and willing to extend a helping hand to join me in our daughter's cause.
