Atlantic Beach Cares is group of local citizens trying to help retain the residential character of Old Atlantic Beach and create public awareness around the negative impact and all the dangers of a proposed 24x7 Gate mega-gas station to the local community.

Many of us in live in the SaltAir subdivision directly behind the property where a gas station has been proposed. The current land use is for a neighborhood shopping center. The new owners want to put in a 6000 square foot convenience store and 14 gas pumps. Please, help us to encourage our City Commission to uphold the Atlantic Beach Charter – to manage redevelopment in a manner which “encourages and maintains a healthy and aesthetically pleasing built environment” and “maintains the City’s distinct residential character.”

Funds will be used for external resources (Technical, Engineering, Environmental, and Legal) to evaluate the Gate proposed site plan and provide detailed information around the impact this will have on the neighborhood and community. As well as fund online ads and offline distribution of flyers for dissemination of information and gaining additional community and local affected businesses' support.

No donation is too small. Anything from $5, $10, $20 to $100 will help! Please note that if paying via PayPal, receipt will show payment to Impact Marketing Solutions, Inc.

  • The residents of Atlantic Beach deserve to be protected from the dangers of this proposed mega Gate gas station and convenience store! Tell your elected mayor and city commissioners that it is their duty and their responsibility to STAND UP FOR THEIR CITIZENS. We do not want the increased unsafe traffic congestion on Atlantic and Sturdivant, the hazardous gasoline fumes, the noise and lighting, or the crime and transients that this 24-hour gas station would bring into our neighborhood. Atlantic Beach Elementary School is only one block from this property. Please help us save our Atlantic Beach community!

  • Atlantic Beach doesn’t need another gas station. I’m happy to fund such a cause.
