Greetings Family and Friends!
On October 12, 2013, I became an official honors graduate of Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Institiute! Over the course of the last two years I have been blessed to meet people who have supported me when I was baking pound cakes and cookies to now when I'm focusing on weddings and special occasions.
I have been chosen as 1 of 100 companies to participate in the Atlanta Business Project/expo.
Update: As of 11/8/2013: Adonai Desserts has been selected as a Feature Start Up At the Atlanta Business Project. This means that I have now become 1 of 5 companies that will present their business at a private luncheon with all of the investors!
Update: As of 11/13/2013 I have exceed my original goal of $350.00 to cover my registration fee!
However this project is not over! All donations coming in WILL BE USED FOR THIS project! At the expo I will have a booth that will require marketing materials, samples, a fantastic display, a new chefs coat (uniform), a printed porfolio, etc.
This project is an amazing opportunity to present my business ideas to potential investors. Some of what I will have the opportunity to learn during this process includes:
Personal & Business Development, Promotions and Marketing, Business and Finance, The Business of Insurance, Business Banking & Credit Card Processing/Merchant Accounts, Staffing and Establishing Business Credit.
Thank you in Advance!
Chef Kimberly I. Houston
