Astro Needs Surgery

I am trying to raise money for my sweet baby boy Astro to have a very necessary surgery. In November of 2021, my girlfriend Chastene and I, noticed that our 2 year old Rottweiler Astro had started to have a strange limp. The limp progressed and got worse so we took him to our family vet and they told us that he had hip dysplasia and that arthritis could be causing him limping and being in pain. But as time progressed Astro has gotten worse over a very short period of time. So we decided that we would take him for a second opinion to see a specialist and we found out in fact that it is not his hips, but he has one fully torn ACL in his left leg and he also has a partially torn ACL in his right leg. Without the surgery his quality of life won't be a very good one. I don't even want to think about putting him down because I can't imagine life without Astro, even in the short time we have shared a bond. It is a bond that can't be broken. I don't want it to be broken. Financially it is a lot of money which is a bit of an obstacle. The surgery costs $12,000 dollars for both knees. I am doing everything in my power to make this money possible myself, but it is a difficult time for me to come up with all of the money in a somewhat short period of time. I wanted to reach out to family and friends, if you want to donate, it would be deeply appreciated. Every dollar helps no matter the amount. $1, $5, $100 all mean the same thing to me. So I am asking for help, sometimes asking for help is a hard pill to swallow, but if that means me getting 10 more years with my best friend Astro, it is worth it.
