Fundraising for a second-hand Canon 7D + lens

Hi (: My name is Yoon Sann, I'm a 25-year-old aspiring photojournalist based in Singapore. My passion for documenting the lives of others through the lens and in writing motivates me to persevere in my pursuit of photojournalism as a career. I want to use photography and writing as tools to share meaningful stories that will hopefully inspire other people around the world.

Up till now, majority of my photos (www.wongyoonsann.com) have been taken with the Canon SX50HS, which isn't a DSLR and unfortunately does not suffice for larger photography projects. Despite being turned down from multiple opportunities due to the lack of suitable equipment, I believe that these are just blips in the road and when there's a will, there's a way.

At present, my friend has been kind enough to lend me her Nikon DSLR, but I look forward to finally being able to purchase my own so that I can tackle a wider range of projects with greater ease. While I have been trying to finance the gear on my own, progress has been very challenging.

I understand that everyone works very hard for their money and my hope is to raise enough to purchase a second hand Canon 7D body with a 10-22mm & 55-250mm IS II lens. I sincerely appreciate any amount contributed. Thank you!
