ΑΣΠΙΔΑ Βοηθείστε να στήσουμε το Κοινωνικό Κτηνιατρείο

Επιδιώκουμε μια αρμονική συμβίωση ανθρώπων και ζώων. Θέλουμε, οι επισκέπτες της περιοχής μας να μην αντικρίζουν εικόνες που δεν τιμούν το πολιτιστικό επίπεδο της τοπικής κοινωνίας.
Γι αυτό απευθύνουμε πρόσκληση συνεργασίας και ενεργής συμμετοχής όλων των πολιτών, για να πετύχουμε τους στόχους μας.
- Οι κάτοικοι θα πρέπει να δείχνουν τον ανάλογο σεβασμό και να μάθουν να συμβιώνουν με τα αδέσποτα και να μην προβάλουν παράνομα αιτήματα για εγκλεισμό, ασυλοποίηση ή εξαφάνιση των αδέσποτων.
- Οι κάτοικοι θα πρέπει να κατανοήσουν ότι τα αδέσποτα δεν «φυτρώνουν», αλλά δημιουργούνται από τους ίδιους τους ανθρώπους και τις ανεξέλεγκτες γέννες δεσποζόμενων ζώων.

- Τους καλούμε να αποβάλουν αντιεπιστημονικές προκαταλήψεις και να τους γίνει συνείδηση η στείρωση των ζώων συντροφιάς σκύλων και γατών της αυλής και της γειτονιάς.

Τα αδέσποτα σκυλιά δημιουργούνται επίσης από τις εγκαταλείψεις και από τις ανεξέλεγκτες γέννες των αλυσοδεμένων και εγκαταλελειμμένων σχεδόν σκυλιών που είναι για φύλαξη του κοπαδιού ή του
χωραφιού.
Ο έλεγχος των γεννήσεων των ζώων αυτών αποτελεί ένα πολύ σημαντικό ζήτημα και σ αυτό θα βοηθήσει η ίδρυση ενός Κοινωνικού Νόμιμου Κτηνιατρείου.
Οφείλουμε να συνεργαστούμε όλοι: δημότες, φιλοζωικές οργανώσεις, φορείς και αρχές.

ABOUT US and our GOAL

We are a Social Cooperative Enterprise called “ASPIDA Environment, People, Animals” based on the city of Larissa and we try to create a legal veterinary centre to neuter strays for free by volunteer vets.

WHY?

-In Larissa we keep finding abandoned puppies and kittens in garbage bins or farming fields. The most unwanted puppies are born from the chained dogs that guard the livestock.

-In Larissa malnourished cats seek food near garbage bins or die from diseases, hit by cars or poisoning. This isn't the cultural image that our city is trying to promote.

What is the only way to rid ourselves from these horrible images?
ONLY BY NEUTERING with Loving, caring and sterilizing

Only systematic neutering can ensure that this uncontrollable breeding will stop and the number of strays will be reduced. On a city like Larissa we can reduce the uncontrolled births and stray animals.

Systematic neutering is capable with minimum cost only through the establishment of a legal, small animal veterinary centre where veterinarians volunteer:

- Neuter stray dogs and cats for free
- Neuter owned pets belonging to financially challenged families

To complete the equipment and achieve our goal: a Veterinary Center of small animals, we are creating an economic campaign to raise 10.000 Euros.
