Campaign Story
No Donation is Too Large or Small. All Donations are a Gift of Love
It is with greatest humility that we choose to reach you from this platform. We come to you with an appeal to raise funds for our mother’s medical treatment (acute Leukemia). Following symptoms such fast heart rate, loss of appetite, coughing and weakness, she was admitted at Guru Nanak Hospital, Nairobi for medical examination. It was revealed that she was anaemic, immediately afterwards she was treated and discharged to continue with medication at home, Ngara Railways, Nairobi.
Despite the medication, the symptoms persisted, which prompted for a return to the hospital. It was during this second visit that, following further laboratory analyses, she was diagnosed with acute leukemia (on 12-11-2018), as a result of recurrent anaemia. Citing high cost of healthcare at Guru Nanak, family members and relatives transferred her to Kenyatta National Hospital where she’s been receiving medical attention.
Arrangements to seek highly specialized treatment in India started well in earnest, with a hospital already identified in Bangalore City in Karnataka State, South India. However, the cost of treatment is without question way beyond our reach. We need at least 35000 - 40000 USD (an equivalent of Ksh. 3.5 million - 4 million) by 15th of January 2019.
We will forever be indebted for your financial, physical and emotional support. Thank you in advance
