Asia’s Biggest Church at Karunapuram, Warangal, India

Great evangelists have laid strong foundation for Christianity in India over the centuries and now the Holy Spirit is doing miracles here, the land of widespread idolatry and home to millions of gods.

Grew as a religion of the underprivileged sections, wherein people born of the poorer families were kept out of the mainstream as untouchables throughout history and even in modern times, Christianity is increasingly being accepted by people across the society. Still, the Christian population is a negligible minority - meager 3 percent of 1.30 billion population of India.

Much work needed to be done, as His second coming is fast approaching.

Rev. Dr. Paulson Raj, a humble man of God known for his prayer power and healing power, is constructing Asia's biggest church near Warangal, 100km from Hyderabad, in the southern state of Telangana, India. The man of God has been doing God's service here, Karunapuram, for nearly three decades and his prayers have healed millions of people all over the state and in the neighboring states of Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and Chhattisgarh.

The new church is not just like any other structure, but it's going to be a historic monument when it is completed. The cost of the project was estimated at Rs100 crore (nearly US$13 million) when it was planned and now it's completed up to 60 percent. The cost estimate has escalated to US$15 million in the course of time and the man of God is struggling hard to complete his dream project, and to dedicate it to the Lord Jesus Christ at the earliest.

This is going to be another Colosseum of the ancient Rome.
