Campaign Story
Now that I have graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Wildlife Biology I will be traveling this August to Sri Lanka to start working in Asian elephant conservation. As many people know I am extremely passionate about elephants and have done most of my undergraduate research projects on Asian elephants. This trip will allow me to gain experience in habitat research, wild elephant behavioral observations, mapping biodiversity, community outreach, and human elephant conflict resolution. On this trip I will also have the opportunity to assist organizations working directly on researching and implementing beehive fences to reduce crop raiding and mitigate conflicts. Getting involved with these organizations is key to getting my foot in the door to make my career goals a possibility and make a difference in the issues I am most passionate about. Thank you for taking the time to read my campaign and I appreciate any help including sharing this link with others!
