Asian-Culinary Travel

Hello there, my name is Courtney Zapanta, an entrepreneur student in her 3rd year of college minoring in Culinary Arts.

You're probably wondering why I started this GoGetFunding, it's because I want to experience the opportunity I missed when our department offered its students to go on a study tour at Asian countries specifically Hong Kong and South Korea. I wasn't able to go because my parents would like to focus on the expenses on my tuition fees. Now that my parents allowed me to travel abroad with a condition that I fund my own travels, they would allow me to go there. ♥♥

These study tours are meant to improve our knowledge on the fields we minor in (Fashion Arts, Product Design and Culinary Arts, and in my case Culinary Arts) as we explore the culture and traditions of that country, and integrate them with what we have back in our school.

During this trip, I'll be spending a week or two in these countries doing culinary workshops in different districts/localities and at the same time enjoy their culture through museum visits, sightseeing and meet different people throughout this trip.

In the end, after my trip is done I'll be sure to share with you guys the fruits of my labor and your support through creating my own dish inspired by the food i've seen and learned in both countries, or make my own fusion cuisine. We'll just wait and see ♥
