What We Do

Asia Badminton Academy in a nutshell is a private professional badminton academy that provides badminton training for kids from the age of 6 years to training full time professional badminton athletes from all over the world. Our training programs consists of specifically developed syllabus known as Standard Training Procedure (STP) using the principles of Long Term Athlete Development (LTAD) among others. This is what makes us very different from many other sport specific academies in the world,we train the Athlete not the Sport.

Physical Education (P.E)

This gradually underrated word has become the underlying aspect of global phenomenon today. Starting from the understanding and appreciation of nature through outdoor activities by the generation of tomorrow, down to the effects of exercise on body and mental health. Physical Education that is the right of every individual during the process of learning and discovering.

Asia badminton academy believes that active participation in sports contribute to a more holistic future generation. We want to give underprivileged children an opportunity to explore sports and learn things they will not learn in classroom such as self-preparation, commitment, dealing with stress of assessments positively, positivety, awareness, self-esteem, confidence, friendship, sharing and bonding.

Asia Badminton Academy has been home to an international community of badminton players and coaches that keeps coming back to quench their thirst for more knowledge and experience of the sport and the lifestyle it has to offer for everyone that calls the academy home away from home. Our local talents have made many friends from all over the world, shared their cultures with each other and have learned to support each other to better themselves in many areas of an athlete’s lifestyle each day. We are proud to continuously hear of stories where individuals from our international community went on to establish the same experience in their respective communities because they believed in its potential to make the world a better place.
