Hey, all
I'm planning on volunteering in Costa Rica with IVHQ in September. I'll be teaching English for 3 weeks!
Not only is volunteering a great way to immerse oneself in another culture but it's also a great way to boost his or her resume. Although IVHQ is insanely affordable, I'm a working college student* and would appreciate all the support I can get.
I broke down the fees:
$785 program cost
$85 travel insurance
$249 registration fee
$30 passport card renewal
$600 roundtrip travel from Philadelphia to Costa Rica
*As of right now, I attend WilmU in Delaware but I'll be transferring to University of Delaware for the Spring of 2014. I'm taking the first half of the fall semester off to go overseas and volunteer. I work as a clerk at a corporate relocation company in New Castle, DE called Xonex.
