Ashley Degenhardt’s 30th Birthday and Cancer Rehabilitation Fundraiser!

Here it is. Full transparency and time to get real with all of you.

First of all, keep this a secret from Ashley!

Ashley is turning 30, and has been talking about this milestone for years. I love her so much and I want to give her the party she deserves, as well as making a donation to an organisation she deeply cares about. Bottom line is I need your help to make that happen. Lots of people have chipped in to help with the party, and I can't thank you enough! Now I'm looking for more support to make as large of a donation in her name as possible. Those of you that know me understand the lengths I’ll go to make Ashley happy, and this party is just an extension of that love.

So here's what Ashley wants. A Harry Potter themed party with all her friends and family. I know she would be happy with a gathering of her closest friends with Harry Potter playing in the background. That’s cheap. That’s easy. What that lacks is showing her just how many people she has impacted during her 30 years on earth, and how much Power she has to influence the people around her in positive ways. That also doesn’t allow all of our friends and family back in Canada to contribute in a meaningful way. The party I envision will do that in an awesome way.

She is making her family and friends proud every day she pursues her passion providing cancer rehab through PINC&STEEL. Those of you who really understand Ash know that going into business for herself was a massive step. I want to acknowledge that step and give her fuel to fire that passion for years and decades to come.

So here's the plan.

We'll be having a house party thanks to some awesome friends who opened their home up. I've hired Alice Sea, one of Ashley's new favourite artists to play. All you have to do is check out Alice Sea singing the song that Ash and I walked down the aisle to know it will be epic.

Any money from here on out that is raised over what was needed to hire Alice Sea, will be donated in Ashley's name to PINC&STEEL. That's the organisation she's providing Cancer Rehab through and they're struggling to maintain enough funds. You can check them out at https://www.pincandsteel.com.

If you would like to pitch in $10 that would be cool, $20 would be awesome and anything more than that is spectacular.

Remember that Ashley has told me that she doesn't care about presents. She just wants to have an amazing time with her friends. But don’t donate if you don’t want to. I would rather you show up with a smile or make a video for Ashley than anything to do with donating. Of course I’m still going to butterbeer you up to donate (I know, I’m hilarious 😂).

If you're from away, I would love a short Happy Birthday video saying how awesome Ashley is, or how she's impacted you in a positive way. I will compile them all in a fun way. You can email or facebook message that video to me, and please do it by May 18th by the latest so I can put it together. And you can also feel free to donate, or not, on here as well. The money people have donated on here so far has gone to hiring Alice Sea (which will be awesome), and so the rest will go towards a donation to PINC & STEEL.

The only absolute is that if you do show up, even for a couple minutes, you must dress up somewhat Harry Potter related! No negotiations on that 😜.
