POST-MASTECTOMY INTIMATES

The project ARYA INTIMO starts with my own breast cancer diagnosis and my own mastectomy, after which I was shocked by the poor supply of underwear and swimwear for women who have undergone such surgery, especially on the Croatian market. Talking to other women, I realised that I was not alone and so the idea of a product line for these women (for us) was born.

After a mastectomy, most women lose their femininity and self-confidence, and the lack of underwear, intimate apparel and swimwear that meets their needs reinforces this image. The mission of the ARYA collection is to encourage women to love their bodies and accept their difficult situation as a source of strength and grace.

These women (us) need love and attention, and that is exactly what is woven into every thread that makes up the ARYA collection of post-operative lingerie, sleepwear and swimwear. This optimism is created in close collaboration with designers, tailor shop owners and factories - in fact, everything is made in Croatia with the aim of supporting the local economy.

We are currently the only ones in Croatia and the region producing such items (post-operative camisoles with integrated bra, pajamas with pockets and swimwear specifically for women who have undergone breast surgery), which means that only we can provide these women with beauty, comfort, security and symmetry that they desperately need at difficult moments in their lives. The ARYA Intimates collection is designed to empower a woman's body and confidence after breast cancer. It is designed to make them feel not like patients, but like women first and foremost.

Breast cancer is the most common type of cancer in women. Women affected by this disease very often have to undergo breast surgery and a long series of therapies (chemotherapy, radiotherapy, ...). During this stressful time full of examinations and doctor's visits, women often lose confidence in their bodies, their self-esteem and their intimacy. In our market, the range of post-operative bras, camisoles, swimwear, breast prostheses, post-chemotherapy headgear ... is very small, which reinforces the loss of self-confidence.

MISSION OF ARYA INTIMO:

• Manufacture intimate apparel and swimwear specifically for post-mastectomy women.
• Selling beautiful and feminine post-operative bras that do not look orthopaedic at all.
• Production of turbans that are affordable for all, in cooperation with the Kamensko association.
• Selling post-operative compression bras, breast prostheses, etc.
• Opening a shop in Zagreb (in progress) where women can buy everything they need in one place in a pleasant and intimate atmosphere in Jurišićeva Street (Rotonda Centre) in Zagreb.
• Offering a certified "fitting" of post-operative bras and prostheses to give a woman (almost) complete symmetry.
• Creating a community of women (blog) that provides support, information and advice for women after breast surgery

SUPPORT ARYA INTIMO:
To achieve the goal of ARYA INTIMO, I invested my own funds and resources. With these funds I have set up the business, financed the creation of our online shop, produced a whole collection of pyjamas and camisoles with integrated bras, financed the design of swimming costumes, ordered a small amount of post-operative bras and turbans and rented a shop at the Rotonda Centre in Zagreb.

As I have exhausted my own financial resources, I have decided to ask for help from friends and anyone who believes in this project and wants to support it.
I need money for the design, materials and manufacture of swimming costumes, the purchase of post-operative bras and entry into Amazon (brand registration €1,000) to make our products available to a large market of women.
Minimum target: €5,000.

If the minimum goal is not reached, the project ARYA INTIMO and Simona Augustić commit to continue the initiative at any cost, because they firmly believe that thanks to it, many women will find the strength, regain their femininity and walk the beach with dignity.

CROWDFUNDING KAMPANJA ARYA INTIMO

Projekt ARYA INTIMO počinje s mojom dijagnozom karcinoma dojke i mastektomijom, nakon koje sam ostala šokirana slabom ponudom donjeg rublja i kupaćih kostima za žene koje su prošle takvu operaciju. U razgovoru s drugim ženama, uvidjela sam da nisam jedina i tu se rodila ideja o liniji proizvoda namijenjenim upravo tim ženama (nama).

Nakon mastektomije, većina žena osjeća gubitak ženstvenosti i samopouzdanja, a nedostatak donjeg rublja, intimne odjeće i kupaćih kostima koje bi odgovaralo njihovim potrebama dodatno pojačava tu sliku. Misija ARYA kolekcije je potaknuti žene da (ponovno) zavole svoje tijelo te da svoje teške životne okolnosti prihvate kao izvor snage i gracioznosti.

Ovim ženama (nama) potrebna je ljubav i pažnja, a upravo to je utkano u svaku nit koja čini ARYA kolekciju postoperativnog donjeg rublja, pidžama i kupaćih kostima. Ova optimističnost nastaje u bliskoj suradnji s dizajnerima, vlasnicima krojačkih obrta i tvornica - naime, sve je proizvedeno u Hrvatskoj s ciljem poticanja domaće ekonomije.

Trenutno smo jedini u Hrvatskoj i regiji koji se bave proizvodnjom ovakvih artikala (postoperativnih potkošulja s integriranim grudnjakom, pidžama s džepićima i kupaćih kostima posebno dizajniranih za žene nakon operacije dojki), što znači da jedino mi možemo tim ženama pružiti ljepotu, udobnost, sigurnost i jednakost koje su im prijeko potrebne u izazovnim životnim trenucima. Kolekcija ARYA Intimates je tu kako bi njegovala žensko tijelo i osjećaj samopouzdanja nakon karcinoma dojke. Uz nju, one se neće osjećati kao pacijentice, već prvenstveno kao žene.

Rak dojke je najčešći rak kod žena. Žene koje se susreću s ovom bolešću vrlo često se moraju nositi s operacijom dojki i dugim nizom terapija (kemoterapija, radioterapija,...). U ovom stresnom vremenu, ispunjenom pregledima i odlaskom liječnika, žene često gube povjerenje u svoje tijelo, samopoštovanje i intimnost. Na našem tržištu je jako oskudna ponuda postoperativnih grudnjaka, potkošulja, kupaćih kostima, proteza dojki, pokrivala za glavu nakon kemoterapije... što još više pridonosi gubitku samopouzdanja.

MISIJA ARYA INTIMO:

• Proizvodnja intimne odjeće i kupaćih kostima posebno dizajniranih za žene nakon mastektomije
• Prodaja lijepih i ženstvenih postoperativnih grudnjaka koji ne djeluju nimalo ortopedski
• Proizvodnja turbana cjenovno prihvatljih svima u suradnji s udrugom Kamensko
• Prodaja kompresijskih postoperativnih grudnjaka, prsnih proteza i dr.
• Otvoriti trgovinu u Zagrebu (u tijeku) gdje će žene moći kupiti sve što im je potrebno, na jednom mjestu, u ugodnoj i intimnoj atmosferi u Jurišićevoj ulici (Rotonda centar) u Zagrebu
• Ponuditi certificirani „fitting“ postoperativnih grudnjaka i proteza kako bi žena dobila (gotovo) potpunu simetriju
• Stvoriti zajednicu žena (blog) nudeći podršku, informacije i savjete ženama nakon operacije dojki
• Za postizanje cilja proizvodnje ARYA INTIMO uložila sam vlastita sredstva te sredstva za samozapošljavanje od HZZ. Njima sam osnovala tvrtku, proizvela cijelu kolekciju pidžama i potkošulja s integriranim grudnjakom, djelomično financirala dizajn kupaćih kostima, naručila mali dio postoperativnih grudnjaka i turbana, unajmila lokal u Rotonda centru.

PODRŠKA PROJEKTU ARYA INTIMO:

Pošto sam iscrpila sva vlastita financijska sredstva odlučila sam tražiti pomoć prijatelja i svih onih koji vjeruju i zainteresirani su pomoći ovom projektu.

Potrebna su mi sredstva za dizajn, materijale i izradu kupaćih kostima, kupnju postoperativnih grudnjaka i ulazak na Amazon (registracija branda 1.000 eura) kako bi naši proizvodi bili dostupni velikom tržištu žena.

Minimalni cilj: 5.000 EUR.

Ako se ne postigne minimalni cilj, Simona Augustić i projekt ARYA INTIMO obvezuju se po svaku cijenu nastaviti inicijativu, jer čvrsto vjeruju da će zahvaljujući njime mnoge žene pronaći snagu i želju da se pogledaju u ogledalo, vrate svoju ženstvenost, dostojanstveno prošetaju plažom.
