My Story

I've been an active blogger for many years. I wrote about all kinds of subjects, but technology and gadgets were the ones that intrigued me the most. In 2012 I made a seperate blog dedicated to these subjects. But after a while, that wasn't enough for me anymore. I decided I wanted to design and sell the products I was writing about.

That's when it all started. I started thinking about promotion and a catchy name for my blog-and-shop. I came up with "Arview". A, because my name is Arno. 'rview' refers to reviews, written on the blog. A catchy name wasn't enough though, I needed to promote my concept. (I'll dig deeper into that later.) After I worked out a plan for my promotion strategy, website host etc. I realized I couldn't pull this off on myself. And that's why you are reading this! :)

Where your money goes to, and what you get for it.

I worked out a plan containing all my spendings. I am assuming I won't make any profit the first year, but won't need any further investments the second year.

*Promotion costs are based on rates social networks apply. This is the main promotional strategy I will use.

I will therefore need €7500 to set up Arview as I'd like to. After the first year, the name 'Arview' will be well known and a big client database will be present.

But what will you get in return for your money?

Promoting my website is very important to me. That's why I'm planning to spend most of my budget on it. That also means the visitor rate is going to be very high.
