Help this ongoing fundraising campaign by making a donation and spreading the word.MY FRIEND is the first publication from non profit arts collective ARTISTS IN TRANSIT.
In October 2016 four ARTISTS IN TRANSIT travelled to Athens to deliver workshops to residents of a refugee camp. Children and adults got involved in: sewing, doll making, painting ,photography,printing, zine sheeting and drawing from still life. MY FRIEND documents this journey.
AIT need to raise £1000 to complete this trip, the more money we raise the more we can spend on equipment and the more children we can work with. The workshops we deliver depend entirely on the amount raised, the more we have the more workshops we can offer.

There are thousands of children and adults living all over Athens in various conditions. Having experienced traumatic journey’s facing dire conditions our workshops really help break up the monotony of day to day life and bring a smile to so many faces.
