On 31st of March 2020, Shevron, as part of its assistance in combatting COVID-19 in Kazakhstan, donated two new Humming Vue ventilation devices (Japan) to the City's Children's Clinical Infectious Diseases Hospital (DGKIB) Almaty. The cost of the two devices totaled 71.8 million KZT (168’290 USD). The project's partner in donating this vital equipment was "AYALA" charity foundation, with which Chevron collaborated in the framework of the long-term project "Breathe Life".
The cost of a ALV (Artificial Lungs Ventilation Machine) apparatus, that is especially crucial now when combatting COVID-19, is too high for most individuals or most companies to fund and donate by themselves.
However, collaboratively, we hope that we could reach this goal.
The goal of this "go fund me" page is to with collaborative efforts of many individuals to fund one more ALV (Artificial Lungs Ventilation Machine) apparatus to help the people in need in these challenging times and circumstances.
Personally, what pushed us to start this "go fund me" page, is the astonishing great things that people achieve when they come together in times of difficulty and challenge. We do hope that we will be able to successfully fund this project. We thank every individual who contributed an amount that he found just for this cause or even just shared the campaign through the means of social media and others.
Let's UNITE and MAKE a DIFFERENCE.

There are many people in need now, there are infinite needs and wants, however resources at our disposition are scarce. This calls for prioritization and it is what economics is all about. We therefore, decided to prioritize and create two campaigns which were important to us, this one which truly will save lives every day, what is more important than a life and being able to help save one, we think it is something everyone, who can, should do. The second one is helping the vulnerable: elderly people, during these times. More information can be found here.
There are many groups of people in our society who require help right now, we would like to push everyone to think of others, to think of more vulnerable people, to spread love and lead by a good example.
Stay home and be safe!
