Campaign Story
Dear Friends of Art Hole Hostel,
Due to the Corona Virus and our landlord, we had to close our beloved hostel. Please help us if you can by donating to our Create a New Art Hole Hostel campaign.
We’ve now found a brilliant and lovely new place! with quick and easy connections all day and night to the centre of Prague - and cycle tracks and microbreweries all around. The local councillor wants us in this building - along with these confirmed: the basement will be an Escape Room, from the ground floor up will be a climbing wall, parkour space, recycle centre, cafe, food bank, art gallery and studio space, a fancy bike shop and repairs, and our Art Hole Hostel 2.0 - and - to top it all - a sky bar!
This place requires a lot of investment.

Update posted by Luke Sturges at 05:13 pmOur new idea is to have a reception cafe: Coffee, wine, books, and all the beer you can eat. Our cafe manager bakes his own Vetrnik pastries - see photos - and he will make one personally for every donation!

Arthole Hostel is such a breath of fresh air! I've spend my vacation there with a friend and we simply had a wonderful time. I'm a musician and Artist myself and your place made me feel good. 😊👍🍀 creative spaces like the arthole hostel are very importand in their existence and nurturing the playfulness of any human kind. Visited the original in spring 2017, have never found a better place to stay the night anywhere, including home. Luke is a diamond of a man and I would hate for them to not have a place. I will be visiting after this pandemic is defeated for good!

One of the best places I’ve stayed in my travels! Without Luke pointing out places to go, I never would have gotten around Prague as I did. Hoping to visit again soon — and hoping to stay here again!

Art Hole was my favourite hostel when I went on my solo Interrail at 18. It was a wonderful place and a safe haven. I've been wanting to return ever since, and very sad that won't be possible. I hope the new location works out! Lots of love, Meia

Wouldn't let COVID take away a beautiful hideout with extremely friendly faces to greet you who made you feel comfortable and right at home. Nature loving, artist friendly, socially conscious space and peeps. Donate and let this amazing space resurrect.
