I am doing this on behalf of my very good friend Roman Zakyan from Armenia to support his home land.

The Global terrorism penetrated into South Caucasus.

The Nagorno Karabakh conflict remains one of the most long-lasting and brutal ones in the South Caucasus region. The fighting over the territory erupted after the collapse of the Soviet Union. Since 1991 to 1994 the conflict took lives of 30,000 people. In 1992 the OSCE Minsk group was formed. The primary aim of the group was to provide an ongoing forum for negotiations towards a peaceful settlement of the of the conflict. The co-chairmen states were France, the US and Russia. In 1994 after the ceasefire agreement was signed between Armenia, Azerbaijan and Nagorno Karabakh in Bishkek the conflict entered uncertain path. Although the under the supervision of the OSCE Minsk Group the conflicting parties were trying to find a solution model, the situation was escalating from time to time.

It seemed that after the Madrid Principles were introduced the parties should stabilize the situation on the frontline. But the reality was different. The escalation on April 2016 and July 2020 indicated that the parties were not ready for peace yet.

On September 27th Azerbaijani military initiated heavy attack on a frontline. What was different this time? First of all, Azerbaijan enjoyed full support of Turkey. The Armenian National Security Service indicated enough evidence of how the Turkish F-16 fighter jets attacked the frontline. Second, more than 1000 Turkey backed jihadi militia groups were transported from Syria to Istanbul and then to Baku. The groups were sent to frontline and nowadays are fighting against Nagorno Karabakh Army.
The recordings of the phone calls from battlefield were released by the Armenian National Security Service. The active presence of militia groups was proven by the French President Emanuel Macron and US Department of State who urged to stop violence at the frontline.
Apart from the Armenian National Security Service, international media outlets also proved the fact of Turkey backed jihadi militia groups to the NK frontline. According to different sources the number of people involved from Syria deviates from 1000 to 2000. The approximate salary reaches up to 1500 US dollars.
Nowadays the global terrorists threat penetrated into a South Caucasus region. Today at the Nagorno Karabakh frontline the local soldiers are fighting against those who can potentially risk the fragile peace in the region.

The history of a humankind is full of painful occasions. Throughout centuries wars, ethnic cleanings and organized massacres took lives of millions. The innocent people were killed only for belonging to this or that nation. It seemed that in 20th century due to emergence of a more complex nature of international relations the prevention mechanism also would be included in the agenda. But the reality was different.
The Armenian Genocide 1915-1923 took lives of one and a half million people. The Osman Empire and the Turkish Republic continuously organized massacres of ethnic Armenians and reached their final aim which was to clean the territory which belonged to Armenians for thousands of years. Armenians call the territory Western Armenia, while in the Turkish official documents and statements the territory called East Anatolia. The main organizers – Young Turks achieved to escape the custody, but became victims of devoted sons of Armenian nation who restored the justice and took the lives of main organizers of horrific events.
The topic of an Armenia n Genocide was frozen for decades due to the fact that Armenia became a part of a Soviet Union. The topic was not discussed on an official leverage, as it was not included in the Moscow’s agenda. Also, it is essential to note that Armenians are scattered around the World. According to different of estimations the number of Armenians living abroad deviates from eight to ten million people. There are well established communities in France, Germany the US and other states around the World. There are also large communities on the regional leverage. The majority of people living abroad are the ancestors of those Armenians who fled from their historical homeland.

The official campaign for recognition enabled only after the Soviet Union was collapsed and Armenia became an independent state. Today more than 20 countries recognized the fact of a Genocide. Due to complex character of the issue many states avoid to officially recognize the fact of a Genocide. Why? First of all, the primary adversary is Turkey. The state which has been conducting Anti-Armenian campaign on variety official and non-official platforms. Second, because of the official stance of Turkey concerning the happened. According to the official position of the Turkish government what happened in the territories which they call Eastern Anatolia was massive deportations of not only Armenians but also other nationalities such as Greeks and Assyrians. The debate continues on variety of platforms, such as scholarship, NGO sector and official and non-official talks between stakeholders.

But the grievances on tangible issues do not limit only the topic mentioned above. Nagorno-Karabakh conflict is one of the most vibrant issues in the South Caucasus region. Since the Bishkek ceasefire in 1994, the active phase of seemed to be over. Although, the OSCE Minsk group has been created to strengthen the ceasefire and develop a common basis for negotiations with the parties to the conflict, however, the conflict continues to develop and deepen at a fast pace. Throughout these years, the Nagorno-Karabakh issue is a top priority for Armenia’s and Azerbaijan’s foreign policies. Moreover, Turkey is also included in the process via supporting stance of Azerbaijan.

Today the World witnesses the most brutal escalation of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict since 1994. On September 27th Azerbaijan initiated large scale attack on a frontline. Although Azerbaijani side claim that Armenians attacked first, but plenty of facts indicate the opposite. First, the large-scale attack on along full perimeter of the frontline needs to be initially prepared. Second, the emergence of jihadists on a frontline, who had been transported from Syria could not be organized within a few hours. Initially the information about the latter fact started circulating in the Armenian media realm. Then, such outlets as BBC, Haaretz and others claimed the fact. Moreover, even French president Emanuel Macron announced about the fact. The jihadi groups are primary from Turkish backed FSA militias, who were transported from Idlib via Istanbul and then to Baku. On the eve Armenian National Security Service released the recordings which clearly indicate how the militia groups are fighting on the frontline with Azerbaijani military. According to different estimations the number of the Syrian groups variate from 1000 to 2000 people. The Turkish support does not limit only by transporting extremist groups. The territory of Nagorno Karabakh was attacked buy Turkish F-16 fighter jets. The Armenian side also published the recordings where the pilots received instructions in Turkish language. Also, dozens of cargo aircrafts have transported from the Turkish territory to Baku. Due to COVID- 19 the borders between countries remain closed or restricted access. Yet is quite hard to anticipate what was in the cargo aircrafts which seemed to fly as normal.

Today Armenia and Nagorno Karabakh are fighting against three units; Azerbaijan, Turkey and global terrorism. It seems that Turkey re-emerged its primary aim which is to clean the territory which historically belong to Armenia from Armenians. The international organizations and variety of NGOs seem to ignore the most brutal eruption in the region since 1994.

We need your help! We are at war. This is a battle for survival, a battle for VICTORY ! Join this Global Armenian campaign to ensure our FREEDOM and INDEPENDENCE.
