Arlo’s Surgery

Hello all,

As many of you know I adopted sweet baby Arlo, a lab mix, on May 22nd. Since day one Arlo has been a happy dog. He loves playing fetch and running around on the beach. He has already brought so much joy to my life and the life of many of our friends and family.

Unfortunately, Arlo isn't 100% perfect. He has an angular leg deformity. We noticed right away that he had a limp but when it didn't get better after a couple of days I took him in for a check up. The vet informed me that Arlo would need surgery because his left leg wasn't growing correctly. Not exactly what you want to hear as a new puppy mommy. The deformity has now gotten to the point that Arlo can't put any weight on that leg. He is obviously in extreme pain. Arlo will be having surgery in two weeks.

Many of you have mentioned that you would like to help in some way. Anything and everything is appreciated. Maybe you could stop by and offer a belly rub or give some good advice. Maybe you could say a little prayer or help financially. Which ever way you may choose to help will be appreciated.
