Ariadna’s loose skin surgery

I am Ariadna, 28, active smiley and loving children,working as a teacher.

In 2018 I started my journey of weight-loss transformation.
I had to do it because of many reasons but the main - heath problems.
My weight was too big to continue living dairy life. It became hard to breath, walk and be active in everything I do.

By the right nutrition and physical exercises I lost a lot of weight!
I had lost 78 lbs (35 kg) And still continue....

Weight-loss had led me to the elimination of form of diabetes and high blood pressure, fatty Liver Disease and in addition the reduction on the weight of my ankles, knees and hips.
As the Result In May 2018 I run the half marathon, and still love running!

I was thinking a lot about the loose skin surgery, I went to the plastic surgeon consultation., where He explained me why it is crucial for me to make the decision to HAVE the surgery:
A lot of people think that the loose skin is easy to recoil but,
the main factor determining skin recoil is the amount of stretch. Even if skin recoil is excellent, the ability of the skin to recoil may be ruined by the amount of stretch. Typically, the more significant the stretch on the skin, the less likely the skin will shrink back completely. Thus, the more weight you lose, the more likely you will need plastic surgery.
My belly is full of big stretches as i have been obese since 9 year old.

As well as, even minor amounts of excess skin can become moist and harbor bacteria. These bacteria can then lead to chronic skin infections that are impossible to eradicate without reconstructive plastic surgery. Thus, sometimes even “minor” excess skin may “require” reconstructive plastic surgery, if you don't make the loose skin surgery on time.
So, my need for reconstructive plastic surgery is the final step required for elimination of excess hanging skin and residual fat and the completion of my weight-loss journey, and to avoid the complications.
The planned surgery is around June, 2020. Depends on will i get all the necessary finances for it.

The reason i am asking for a money here is because with the teacher salary here in Latvia, its impossible to safe such a big amount of money, so i hope people around the world would hear my cry, and would be touched by my story of weight-loos and help me to achieve my dreams
So, the biggest dream now is to remove this loose skin. So I can continue my journey.
