Architect that aspires to be a full time Artist

Welcome to my page.

I am a Philippines-based Architect that aspires to become a full-time painter. I had my share of peaks and valleys during almost a decade of working in the architecture profession. Architects are admired the world over, but I believe that that my gift is more inclined the arts.

The fist step into fulfilling this vision is by studying in a local art school. I would like contribute to our culture by means of creating images that have strong roots to Philippine society and culture.

The funds will be used for tuition fees and other school related costs, living expenses, materials, seminars and exhibits for duration of the study. I plan to enroll in a reputable school, ideally the University of the Philippines, University of Santo Tomas or Feati University as they have a really solid training for aspiring artists.

I will be taking the route of a Graduate program, the number of units must be significantly lower than the typical graduate, around 6 to 15 units per semester. likewise, since I do not have a Fine arts background, I must take 12 units of undergraduate courses at the UP College of Fine Arts as a prerequisite for full admission. I plan to finish the entire graduate program in less than 3 years, so a maximum of 6 semesters.

Ideally, I would prefer to study now as I am already 30, my time to produce most work is within this decade.

This unique opportunity would shift the trajectory of my career into a more meaningful one.
