April’s Cornea Transplant Surgery Fees

Hi everyone,

   My name is April and I just had a Cornea Transplant two weeks ago.. I have been blind in my left eye for 7 years and I have endured several surgeries, plasma tears treatment twice, several eye drops and all have been unsuccesful. This year has been amazing for me so far, but very expensive for a one income family with a young child. I am hoping this site will help me to raise the money I need to help with all of my surgery costs and medications.

  I have been blessed to have had this surgery and all is going well so far. I am confident that this will be the surgery that allows me to have a life once again. I have struggled on a daily basis with horrific pain and light sensitivity. I have not been able to work or be involved with my family due to my eye condition. Now though thanks to my amazing Dr here in Ft.Worth I will have sight and no more daily pain.. I also hope to return to work after my 3 month recovery.

Finally I truly feel lucky to have made it through this very difficuly journey, I have lost alot during this time, but now I have a new beginning to life. Thank all of u in advance to help me with my Medical costs and Prescriptions.. Bless you all, April
