Application for exchange of goods/Bartering

A young start up, where we aim to create a more meaningful and less polluting way of life. We'd like to help people to use the resources we have and contribute to a healthier world, but also healthier minds. The forgotten way of bartering is our major passion. We don't want things to be thrown away, or food to be wasted.

So we are planning to build an app, which will allow people to exchange goods. This will be purely a goods based exchange, so no prices on anything. Someone maybe has too many potatoes or a radio they don't need, and they'd like to exchange it for something. The other person then "bids" with was they are offering, maybe a cast iron, a vase or just anything, and the original poster can decide which offer suits him the most. The app will be available to set your region of course, so you can easily exchange goods with your neighbors or people from your city, but you can also go as far as you'd like to exchange something.

The amount raised will be used solely for developing the application, as well as for marketing purposes (newspaper articles, SEO, website - will be done by myself, so no costs involved in this).
