My medical treatment for my pituitary gland tumor

I am Apple Grace Anuada 24 yrs old, single and presently residing at Purok 2, Brgy. 17, Gingoog City, Misamis Oriental. I am the youngest in the family. I have 3 brothers and four sisters. We lost our father 16 years ago thus we struggle through life with only our mother by our side. When I graduated College, I worked as Community Empowerement Facilitator (CEF) at the Department of Social Welfare and Development in Cebu City. It was then tha I noticed something wrong with my health. My monthly menstruation never came as I expected it. It never visited me for more than a year which made my whole family worry. I quit my job and went home and went to see a doctor. There I learned what's going on with my body. I was diagnosed to have pituitary gland tumor in my brain after a series of CT Scan and MRI (magnetic resonance imaging). My whole world was twisted upside down, starting to lose hope. We are a happy family from a poor family. My neurologist said my sickness is CONGENITAL. It was already there when I was born.

As I grow in age, it grows with me, slowly, destroying my body. The tumor is located at my pituitary gland thereby causing hormonal imbalance in my body the main reason why I dont have monthly menstrual visit anymore. As this tumor grows, it will block the passage of fluid causing me headaches and eventually will make me blind. I dont want to add negative to say, it's in my brain. I'm scared of it. We decided not to tell our mother about it. She's very sick this time. As youngest child, I watch after my mom - do everything for her as she cannot do anymore household chores she diligently do before because she's suffering now with osteoporosis, frankly speaking we have a hard life now. There is only one in our family earning for us aside from my 3 siblings who are already married and went off living with their own family. My mom thought I am fine but actually not. Only the 8 of us are on this battle. We are confused on what to do. My neurologist said, only an operation can get this tumor out of my head in the amount of 500-700 thousand pesos.

I am still young. I still want to live longer by God's grace, stay with my mom with my siblings. I still want to play with nephews and have my own family. I still want to live. I have great dreams for my family all for God's glory. I believe that when God closes a door, he opens a window. He may have close a door for me by giving me this illness, but I know He has an open window for me to let somebody get in and help me.

I am writing this in the hope somebody with a good heart will get into the window that God has opened for me. I humbly need your prayers for my condition and financial assistance as well, so I can have my surgery the soonest time possible before its too late. I find my hope in God and in you.
