It started October in 2017 when we notice a delay on my wife's menstruation and spot of blood when there is contact. We thought that the delay was a sign of pregnancy but Apple had her period the following month. Her period started to show abnormal pattern as it only took 3 days, then had another after a week.
We decided to consult a specialist and found out that there’s a lump on her cervix and was advised to undergo ultrasound examination. We got the result after a week, then was referred to consult a Gyne- Oncologist to have Biopsy test on the lump area. Biopsy result came out in January 2018 and it wasn’t good news. Malignant cells were seen invading fibrous stroma tissues (Squamous Cell Carcinoma). Series of laboratory tests and CT scan were performed. She finally had her operation on the same month (January 2018) after the test results were out. She was then scheduled for 28 days of radiation and 6 sessions of Chemotheraphy. Apparently, her doctor found out that her left ureter was dilated and had to undergo another operation prior to her Radiation and Chemotheraphy sessions.
Apple was doing so well after these procedures until September of this year when she felt pain on her lower abdomen which seems to be like an abscess. The pain got worse and the abscess still existed after a month, so her doctor performed another operation and the tissue sample was sent for another Biopsy. Just this month, we got the results positive for cancer and was advised to undergo Chemotheraphy sessions again.
Due to her continuous medical treatment which we hope to start as soon as possible, we have decided to raise funds to support her medical needs while under treatment. Her medical costs are getting expensive and we have decided to raise funds to support her treatment. We need to start her sessions "as soon as possible".
