Greetings, everyone. My nephew, who lives with us, is presently incarcerated in MDH.
He will have an appendectomy and is nine years old.
While we are able to cover a portion of the expenses, we would want to apply for financial assistance for both the procedure and the medications that will be prescribed following.
My dear nephew is a highly active and outgoing young man, thus it kills me to see him in this condition.

A tube has now been placed in my nephew in order to lessen the amount of air and water in his body to prevent another operation, as he is still incarcerated and currently weak due to the operation.

The procedure was successful! The surgeon informed us that the appendix had ruptured before the procedure, but he was fortunate to start the procedure early and prevent any complications.
Moved to Manila Doctors Hospital for surgery

My nephew is now incarcerated at Manila Doctor's Hospital for an appendectomy.
Moving to a different hospital

MDH's surgery room is full, and my nephew will be discharged so that we can move him to another hospital. The doctor and the nurses agreed that the operation should take place ASAP as his appendix might burst and cause other complications.
