I would like to appeal to your good heart concerning the serious medical condition of my 23-year-old youngest sister, HELEN ESTRELLA, who has been confined at the Emilio Aguinaldo Medical Center in Dasmarinas, Cavite since March 25, 2019.
She has been afflicted with a still mysterious disease where her left lung has been affected by a buildup of fluid called pleural effusion. Doctors initially suspect TB, but that is still to be confirmed.

She has undergone numerous medical procedures and more will still be conducted on her. Last Friday, March 29, 2019, she underwent a nearly 3-HOUR SURGERY on her affected lung. She has also been subjected to chest tube thoracostomy to drain the extra fluid in the space around her left lung. Prior to these, she underwent numerous lab tests, including X-rays, ultrasound, blood tests, etc. More medical procedures are likely to be done to her in the days ahead.
As a result, her HOSPITAL BILLS are GROWING BY LEAPS AND BOUNDS. In just a week’s time, her bills have amounted to nearly 100,000 pesos. It will still rise as her doctors said she will be confined for a still undetermined number of days in the hospital.
We are a POOR FAMILY, and we do not have the means to pay such a huge amount.
That’s why we are REQUESTING FOR YOUR HELP. We will be indebted to you for life if you can help us financially.

Sickening Hospital bill

The doctors at the Emilio Aguinaldo Medical Center HAVE NOT FOUND A WAY TO TREAT HELEN.What is even more outrageous is that they have billed us a MONSTROUS P92,000 just for their professional fees.. . . . .

She'll undergo CT scan today to find out what's causing the fluid buildup on her lungs. We ask for prayers, please...
