  1. > I have been pretty silent on my accident condition, but now that it has been over 5 Months, I thought

> I feel the need to share my pains, troubles and worries. I am thankful for been alive and thankful for the

> support of my office, friends and family members.

> On the 18th of April 2018 at about 10am I hurriedly left home on a commercial bike following an

> emergency call from my boss to come to the office, shortly after I boarded the bike, a fast moving

> vehicle suddenly knocked me off the moving bike as such I sustained injuries on my left knee joints,

> open fracture of the lower 1/3 of the left tibia, multiple superficial injuries on my forehead and nasal

> bridge. I was rushed to the hospital; I had to be resuscitated with Antibiotics, intravenous fluid,

> Analgesics, oxygen and blood transfusion. I was stabilized and booked to have emergency surgeries in

> two stages the first was open reduction, external fixation of the left knee which cost over 2.5million

> naira, yes to this day I still have flashbacks to my accident. I might have worked out alive but actually

> have a shattered ankle. I am now 57 years old and have a shattered ankle, for me this injury is a reminder

> that even though I was involved in an accident I am still alive. I will never forget that faithful day that

> kept me permanently on bed.

> I have spent all my life savings, I had to sell my personal belongings including my two cars and with help

> from my close family members and associates I was able to pay for the surgery.

> The second corrective surgery will cost over #3.8million to

> cover the cost of the 2nd operation, wheel chair, crutches, drugs and other materials needed for the

> operation. Meanwhile I have already spent over 3 months in the hospital after the 1st operation. I was

> discharged in August, 2018 to become an outpatient because I could not afford the hospital bill. I am

> presently living on charity from friends and well-wishers, can hardly afford to feed my family, Right now I have relocated to a smaller house in a village because life was very unbearable for me and my family in the city where I was leaving, present

> my three (3) children are out of school Because I could not afford their school fees.

The lorry company although admits their driver is incompetent but shrug off their responsibilities for employing such an unqualified personnel by simply by laying him off. After the successful operation I will like to get my life back on track by engaging in a fast food business.

> i am

> therefore soliciting for help from well-meaning people, donors, societies and groups to kindly come to

> my aid to enable me get back on my feet

> Please no amount is too small remain blessed

> God bless you all!
