Aomori Cultural Exchange Scholarship

The Aomori Cultural Exchange Scholarship is a new community project being created by foreign language teachers and international relations coordinators in Aomori, Japan. Many students are interested in studying foreign languages and learning about foreign cultures, but it is difficult for most to expand their horizons outside of the classroom. The aim of our￥300,000 scholarship is to provide two Aomori Junior High School or Senior High School students with partial scholarships of ￥150,000 each to be put towards an overseas study abroad program of their choice. We want to give our students the opportunity to experience cross-cultural exchange on a global level and to create memories that will last them a lifetime.

青森文化交流奨学金は青森県の外国語指導助手（ALT）と国際交流員（CIR）によって新設されたプロジェクトです。当奨学金の目的は海外留学を希望する青森県の中高学生を助成することです。多くの生徒たちは外国語と異文化に興味を持っていますが、学校外における経験がかなり少ないです。海外留学における国際交流を通して、生徒たちが自分自身の視野を広げ、忘れることのできない思い出作りの機会を提供するために、300,000円を募金します。それぞれが選んだ海外留学プログラムを支援するために、中高生２人に１人あたり150,000円を支給します。
