Antwerp Student Fleet 2021

Antwerp Student Fleet is a project by and for students of the Antwerp Maritime Academy. Our aim is to organise a voyage on three traditional sailing vessels in the North Sea in September 2021. Eighteen students from the Antwerp Maritime Academy are going to practice life on board and familiarise themselves with their roles as future professional officers in the maritime sector.

Today’s students are tomorrow’s officers. By going back to the origins of navigation, Antwerp Student Fleet is resolutely in line with the spirit of excellence of the Antwerp Maritime Academy thus contributing to the training of a generation of demanding, competent sailors who love their profession and the sea.

You can become part of our project by helping us raise the money we need to charter vessels, buy charts, pay port fees and so on.

Antwerp Student Fleet is een project voor en door studenten van de Hogere Zeevaartschool Antwerpen. Ons doel is om in september 2021 een reis te organiseren op drie traditionele zeilschepen op de Noordzee. Achttien studenten van de Hogere Zeevaartschool Antwerpen gaan zich vertrouwd maken met zowel het leven aan boord als met hun rol van toekomstige professionele officieren in de maritieme sector.

De studenten van vandaag zijn de officieren van morgen. Door terug te gaan naar de oorsprong van de scheepvaart, sluit de Antwerp Student Fleet resoluut aan bij de geest van uitmuntendheid van de Hogere Zeevaartschool en draagt zo bij tot de opleiding van een generatie vooruitstrevende, bekwame zeelui die van hun beroep en van de zee houden.

U kan deel worden van ons project door ons te helpen het geld in te zamelen dat we nodig hebben om schepen te charteren, zeekaarten te kopen, havengelden te betalen enzovoort.

Antwerp Student Fleet est un projet réalisé par et pour les étudiants de l'Ecole Supérieure de Navigation d’Anvers. Notre objectif est d’organiser un voyage à bord de trois voiliers traditionnels en mer du Nord en septembre 2021. Dix-huit étudiants de l’Ecole Supérieure de Navigation d’Anvers vont pratiquer la vie à bord et se familiariser avec leur rôles de futurs professionnels du secteur maritime.

Les étudiants d’aujourd’hui sont les officiers de demain. En remontant aux origines de la navigation, Antwerp Student Fleet s’inscrit résolument dans l’esprit d’excellence de l’Ecole Supérieure de Navigation d’Anvers, contribuant ainsi à la formation d’une génération de marins exigeants, compétents, amoureux de leur métier et de la mer.
