This campaign's purpose is to fund the annual meeting of 'Anti-SOTUS' - the organization that act against Hazing and human rights violation in Thailand education system, especially in universities. Anti-SOTUS was founded on 7th December 2011 as the united organization against human rights violation in universities in Thailand resulted from the mindset system called "SOTUS" - the abbreviation of 5 words - 'Seniority', 'Order', 'Tradition', 'Unity' and 'Spirit' which used widely in universities for their new students initation activities, welcoming activities and even used as community guideline. However, despite of the claim of goodwill, SOTUS system has been used in many human rights abusing activities, oppression from sunior students, sexual harassment or even injuries, murder and deaths.
Our organization, Anti-SOTUS has been working against SOTUS system and other kind of human rights abuse in education system despite of almost no support. However, with your support, we will be able to achieve more. The financial support from this campaign will be used to conduct annual meeting, gain more support and member from student activist from university nationwide that we can do more to bring changes to Thailand.
