Anti-bonebreaking cycling gear for Ivan

Greetings all.

So this is the story:

It was a rainy, cold, barely afternoon around 14:00 h. I was doing some errands and ciclying on a tram line going my normal speed - about 20-25 kp/h.

Then the grease slick under the water entered the mach! It made me lose control of the steering, thus the front wheel promptly decided to fall in to the tram track channel - making me do a close encounter of the fourth kind with the asphalt.

After skidding on asphalt for about 4 meters, I stood up, collected my bicycle (which is perfectly fine btw) from the road and sat myself in a cafe for a proper cleanup - using the time while in shock to ignore the possible pain from all the wounds, before going to the ER.

After going to the ER, the total tally is:

broken big toe on a right foot - needs 5 weeks healing

Broken bone in an elbow, limiting the movement of that arm to about 10% - needs 5 weeks of healing at least, maybe more.

dislocated left thumb which is still swollen, hurts and is practically useles.

deep scratches on:

left hand - middle and ring finger, inbetween knuckles and three locations on the palm, the worst being on the bottom of the palm.

right hand: two sets of deep scratches on the bottom of the palm

right leg: a set of three deep scratches on te knee, covering around 80% of the knee area and a palm size superficial scratch halfway up the tigh.

Left leg: just some shallow scratches on the knee.

Not fun. 0/10... would not recommend.

And then the idea for this protective gear came to mind... why? I cannot craft now... and wouldn't want to repeat the experience, but also, it might be fun :) so... let's see, I guess?
